Junior Registration

All junior registrations are managed through our affiliated clubs.

To register, please visit your chosen club’s website or social media pages for full season information. Registration links are usually available through the club. If you cannot find the link, please contact the club directly for assistance.

Please ensure the correct email address is entered during registration, as this will be the primary method of communication from the club.

Families are reminded that all Gold Coast Basketball affiliated clubs are volunteer-run, and we appreciate your patience and understanding when contacting club representatives.

Important registration guidelines:

Players may only register with one club per season.

Players can only trial with one club.

Once a player has been selected, registered, or placed on a team list with a club, they are not eligible to transfer to another club for that season.

Transfers will not be approved because a player later receives an offer from another club, is unhappy with their division placement, changes their preference, or wishes to play with friends at another club.

This rule is in place to protect club selection processes, maintain fairness across all clubs, and preserve the integrity of the competition.

Player Transfers

Effective from Summer 2025, players are no longer required to complete a separate Player Transfer JotForm.

All transfer requests must now be submitted directly within the player’s registration form. Players must clearly indicate that they are requesting a transfer and specify the club they are transferring from.

Please note:

  • Once a player has been placed on a team list for the current season, they are not eligible to transfer to another club during that season.
  • Players may only transfer clubs at the commencement of a new season.
  • Transfer requests will only be approved if the player is financially clear with both their previous club and Gold Coast Basketball.

This process has been implemented to ensure fairness across all clubs, maintain the integrity of team selections, and streamline the administration of player registrations and transfers.
