Men's Roster

We’re proud to have TJ Diop return as captain for the 2026 season, continuing to lead our program with passion and authenticity. TJ embodies everything it means to be a Gold Coast Roller – selfless, driven, and committed to the success of the group. His leadership extends far beyond the court, setting the standard for what our program represents both on and off the floor.

As we continue to build, TJ’s presence remains crucial in driving our culture and holding the group to a high standard. We’re excited to see him once again lead from the front this season.

We’re excited to have Cooper Urquhart return to the Gold Coast Rollers for the 2026 season following his first year with the program.
In his debut season, Cooper quickly built a reputation for his hard work and no-nonsense approach as a big man.

He is one of those players every team values – someone who genuinely wants the best for the group and consistently puts the team first. His attitude, reliability, and willingness to do the little things make him a strong presence within our program.

We’re looking forward to Cooper continuing to develop his game and impact throughout the 2026 season.
Jackson McCabe returns to the Gold Coast Rollers for the 2026 season. Jackson has spent the last two years playing at a premier Div 2 college at Dallas Baptist, continuing to develop his game at the collegiate level.

At 6’9, Jackson is a high-level athlete who impacts the game with his rebounding and defensive presence, while also playing above the rim on the offensive rim. Unfortunately, last season he was impacted by unfortunate medical issues and we didn’t get the opportunity to see him in action.

We’re thrilled to have him back healthy and ready to go for 2026, and we look forward to continuing to support Jackson on his journey as he continues to grow and make his impact with the Rollers this season.
We’re excited to welcome Ash McGrath to the Gold Coast Rollers for the 2026 season as he makes the move across from Logan.

Ash arrives as one of the premier young guards in the state, coming off an outstanding National Under-20 Championships where he represented Queensland and established himself as one of the standout performers in the tournament.

Ash brings a high basketball IQ and the ability to create and make shots. His competitiveness and drive to improve make him an exciting addition to our program. We’re looking forward to supporting him as he continues his development and watching him take the next steps on his journey as he chases his basketball dream.
We’re thrilled to welcome Elijah Puna to the Gold Coast Rollers for the 2026 season. A skilled 3/4, Elijah comes into the program looking to expand his game and take the next step at NBL1 level.

From what we’ve seen so far in preseason, we are excited with his versatility and skillset providing strong upside for our group. Along with his IQ which helps him be able to shift between the inside and outside, he has a deep competitiveness to help his team in whatever they need.

Just as importantly, Elijah is a great person to bring into our environment, aligning with the values we hold strong at the Rollers. We’re excited to support his development and look forward to watching him continue to grow his game throughout the 2026 season.
We’re excited to welcome Brodie McGregor back for the 2026 season following a breakout year that highlighted his immense potential. After earning his opportunity as a 17-year-old last season, Brodie has taken significant strides in his development and continues to be a shining light for all our juniors within our association.

He went on to lead Queensland at the National Under-20 Championships, where he established himself as one of the standout performers in the tournament. His growth, confidence, and understanding of the game have all elevated, and he now returns ready to make a stronger impact at NBL1 level.

Brodie continues to be an exciting prospect within our program, and we’re looking forward to seeing his progression translate onto the court this season.
We’re extremely proud to welcome Preston Le Gassick back to the Rollers for the 2026 season as he transitions into the next phase of his career.
After concluding an outstanding college career, Preston returns home ready to take the next step as a professional. A Gold Coast product through and through, his journey is a reflection of what our pathway is all about.

Preston is coming off an elite NBL1 North season where he was recognised as the Youth Player of the Year and earned selection in the NBL1 North All-Second Team, highlighting the level of impact he has already made. He brings leadership, composure, and a high-level understanding of the game, combined with his toughness and ability to control a game.

We’re excited to see him build on that momentum and continue establishing himself at the professional level in 2026.
We’re thrilled to have Jensen Bradtke with the Rollers again for the 2026 season following a significant year of growth at the next level. Jensen spent the past season with the Brisbane Bullets as a development player, gaining invaluable experience within a professional environment.

His performances in NBL1 North also saw him earn selection in the All-Second Team, reinforcing his status as one of the premier young prospects in the competition.

Standing at 6’10 with elite versatility, Jensen’s ability to impact the game across multiple positions continues to evolve. His combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ is rare, and with the experience he has now gained, we’re excited to see him take another major step forward this season.
We’re excited to welcome Boston Mazlin back to the Gold Coast Rollers for his third season in the Blue and White.

Boston continues to establish himself as one of the most dangerous young shooters in the country, with his ability to stretch the floor and impact the game on both ends.
Over the past 12 months, his development has taken another step forward, and he continues to show he belongs at a higher level. Boston continues to do everything in his control – now it’s about opportunity.

We firmly believe he is ready for the next step in his career, and it’s only a matter of time before someone takes a chance on him at the professional level. We’re looking forward to him putting that on full display again this season.
We’re excited to welcome Jimmy Whitt Jr to the Gold Coast Rollers for the 2026 season. Jimmy arrives as a high-level guard with professional experience and a proven ability to impact games in a variety of ways. He brings a rare level of athleticism seldom seen at this level, combined with composure and a strong feel for the game. Jimmy is an elite defender, using his length and anticipation to disrupt and control on that end of the floor, while also having the ability to create for others and score when needed.

A standout collegiate player at SMU and Arkansas, Jimmy has gone on to build a professional career in Mexico and most recently spent time with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G-League. He arrives in Australia motivated by the opportunity and is fully committed to helping the Rollers in any way possible.
Beyond his on-court impact, Jimmy is an outstanding human being and a fantastic addition to our program that perfectly embodies the Rollers way of life.
