🎄 Junior Competition – Christmas Break Update 🎄
As we approach the festive season, we would like to thank all our players, coaches, referees, parents, and volunteers for an incredible first half of the 2025/26 Junior Summer Season!
This week marks the final round of our split rounds before we take a well-earned Christmas break. Competitions will pause over the holiday period and will recommence the week of 26 January 2026.
During the break, our Competitions Team will be:
- Reviewing division placements
- Manually updating and finalising ladders
- Confirming any movement between divisions
These updates will be shared directly with clubs ahead of Round 8 return.
We hope everyone enjoys a safe and joyful festive season with family and friends. Thank you for your ongoing support and passion for our game.

Tallebudgera Competition
- A huge thank you to all the teams who played throughout the year, and congratulations to those who made it through to the Grand Finals in Season 2..
- A new season kicks off in February 2026 — team nominations are now open, and spots are filling fast. Don’t miss out!
- Special thanks to Sue and her team of referees, whose hard work ensures this competition remains one of the best on the coast.
Carrara Competition
- We’re currently on a mid-season break, with competitions returning the week of 12th January 2026:
- Monday 12/19 Jan – Split Round – Runaway Bay
- Tuesday 13/20 Jan – Split Round – Runaway Bay
- Wednesday 14 Jan – Runaway Bay
- Thursday 15 Jan – Runaway Bay

As we wrap up another incredible year of basketball, we want to take a moment to celebrate you, the heart of our community.
This season has been filled with teamwork, resilience, and joy both on and off the court. Our unified players have inspired us with their determination, our support players have shown what true friendship and inclusion look like, and our families have been the steady cheer squad that makes every game day special.
Together, you’ve created moments that remind us why basketball is more than just a sport, it’s a community built on respect, encouragement, and belonging.
Special mention to our team managers who take care of our teams each week and wash those glorious smelling singlets. 😉
